ABOUT SOLIDUDEARIAN
The Solidudearian project was birthed by Avi as a means of chronicling and sharing his journey from San Antonio to the rustic Texas hill country for his future generations. Over time it has organically grown into a project that will encompass many artistic outlets. This project has become borderless encompassing many outlets and will be scattered across numerus platforms. Over time Solidudearian looks forward to contributing towards more positive DIY communities by encouraging "Solid Dudes" to nurture and cultivate healthy mindsets in individuals throughout the communities.

History
Beginning in March of 2016 while still living in San Antonio Avi opened his private home to host to DIY musicians from across the United States, Canada and as far away as Chiba, Japan. Turning his house into Casa De Avi for four years so that the San Antonio locals could have a safe space to enjoy musicians that would otherwise struggle for a venue or not have a local place to play.
As the days passed, Avi launched a beloved event known as the Folk Shit Up Festival. Although featuring a variety of genres, the festival predominantly focused on showcasing the talents of folk artists.
In the spring of 2019, as Casa De Avi continued to expand Avi joined up with a silent partner and discovered a fresh location in the form of La Avienda. This new establishment aimed to serve as a consignment store for aspiring musicians and artists. Its main goal was to promote the sale of self-made artist merchandise, allowing them to generate income and focus more on their creative pursuits without the added burden of selling goods.
During their time at La Avienda, Avi collaborated with local residents to organize No Words Fest. This event aimed to raise awareness and advocate for positive mental well-being within the artistic community. The featured performers were all instrumental bands, chosen to encourage communication among attendees. Our goal was for guests to actively check in on their fellow artists, ensuring that no one felt isolated in dealing with mental health challenges. All proceeds from the event were donated to a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the community's mental health.
Following a six-month stint at La Avienda, Avi joined forces with four other kindred spirits to establish Passel Studios. For two years, the studio thrived within the San Antonio DIY scene, leaving a lasting impression on all involved and those who partook in its events.
With the closure of Passel Studios Avi sold his house and began his migration to the Texas hill country where he has been since August 2022. Now with time becoming more manageable he began embark on the creation of Solidudearian and looks forward to see what the future holds for this new venture.
